Somebody must step this, and I mean someone good with a history. I almost want to, but I just don't feel like touching StepMania. It would be an epic last file, thoughFalling off the face of the Earth and other stuffPosted on: December 18, 2008, at 04:58:30pm [

Well, I haven't been very active here recently, and I haven't even bothered with SM for over a week. It's not only recently either. Over the last month I've been getting less and less enjoyment out of FFR and SM. StepMania just seems boring and uninteresting to me now. I feel like I could be doing better things. FFR... just.. seems unappealing in general. Actually, it's more than FFR and SM. I've been spending less time on the internet.
I don't know, this could be a side effect of the holidays. We'll have to see what I feel like after New Years. To be honest, I don't care if I don't feel like spending time here and in SM anymore. I can find more productive things to do.
The weather the past few days has been quite interesting. Snow, then ice, then more snow, and still more unpredictable weather the next few days. The temperatures have been dropping down into the low teens! I know that may not seem like anything unusual for you northeasterners and midwesterners, but where I live down in the valley, it's rather uncommon. I also happen to live in one of the hilly parts of town. The weather here can be significantly different (worse) than what it's like downtown.
On the plus side, I've been watching more movies than I ever have before. I've NEVER been a movie person. Most of the movies I've seen I saw before I was ten. I've probably seen less than a dozen movies within the past 7 years. The only time I ever watch movies is when I'm forcefully dragged to the movie theaters, or when something happens to be on TV while I have nothing better to do.
Seriously, when you can make a full list of the movies you've watched, and most of them are children's films, you know you haven't seen many movies. Of course, there's nothing wrong with children's films. Some are as much for adults as they are for kids.
Monsters, Inc.
Antz
Gumby: The Movie (First movie I ever remember seeing, I think.)
Jumanji
A Goofy Movie
Eragon (Good thing I never read the book)
The Sword in the Stone
The Nutty Professor
The Sandlot
Men in Black
Good Burger (I completely blame my sister for me liking this. Damn her.)
The Rugrats Movie
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Chicken Run
Pokemon: The First Movie (I remember when I was 7 years old and loved Pokemon)
Hey Arnold!: The Movie
Doug's 1st Movie (Hi, quit putting the word "first" in your titles, thnx.)
Elf
Home Alone
Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Kicking & Screaming
The Simpsons Movie
Kung Fu Panda
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
Follow That Bird
A Christmas Story
Charlotte's Web
Recess: School's Out
Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Mary Poppins
James and the Giant Peach
The Little Rascals
Additionally, here are the movies I've seen within the last MONTH:
Cloverfield
Reign of Fire
The Rescuers
The Rescuers Down Under (This movie > First movie)
Zathura
Super Size Me (I was eating fast food while I was watching this. No joke.)
Transformers
I, Robot
The Hunchback of Notre Dam
Bolt
Bridge to Terabithia
United 93 (Holy crap, the first R rated film I've ever seen.)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - The Movie
A Bug's Life
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Mulan
The Iron Giant (This movie is really good. Watch it.)
Batman
Batman Returns
Also, I still have virtually all of my Christmas shopping to finish. I don't feel like going shopping in this crappy weather either. This will be fun...
Now that I've filled you in on my life the last month I'll feel satisfied if I never make another post again.
Oh, and Merry Christmas... and a Happy New Year!
P.S. It's snowing again =/
Don't ask me to test your simfilePosted on: October 25, 2008, at 04:16:42pm [

I'm saying this once and for all so I don't have to keep telling people I'll play their files, then forget. I'm not good at criticism anyway. Everything comes out too nice, and I don't end up saying what's actually wrong.
I don't care if people ask me to play their files, but I'll leave reviews on my own time. I'm better at them if I'm not asked.
EDIT: Okay, okay, I don't mind testing files by people who know what they're doing. What I don't want to have to do is have to give someone a complete guide on how to re-step their file.
Peace.

EDIT: Expect a second pack if I ever get out of my slump.
I'm to lazy to post it in the forums, lol.
Description:
You'll find every type of file in here, from technical masterpieces to 16th stream runs that indexers, and people who don't know much about simfiles seem to like. Some of these files are classics and have been around for sometime, while some are hidden gems that are really good but probably overlooked, while others are just newer files by bands like DrGoNfOrCe and RhApSoDy which everyone seems to like even though their songs make really bad simfiles for the most part. The majority of music in here is power metal, as well as some progressive metal, some death metal, a little heavy metal, and other various genres. Why so much power metal in here, you say? Because that's what most people step, lol >_<
One last thing. I know some people might be dissapointed, and some are wondering why I didn't include simfiles by certain artists in here. Well, if the public doesn't provide me with decent simfiles, or any at all for that matter, of an artist, what am I going to do? Honestly, the band I'm the most dissapointed to not have a file of is Iron Maiden. Iron Maiden in great, and a big influence to most modern day power metal.
This pack features 70 files by over 35 music artists and about 25 simfile authors!

I want everybody to tell me their favorite metal bands. I want to find as many good bands as possible, so I need as many people to post as possible. Post every band you like, even if it's only slightly.
Two things:
- Do not bother posting hardcore death metal, I hate it.
- Don't bother posting anything like Dragonforce, or Rhapsody, or Dream Theater, I've already heard of them.
And yes, I actually do have a reason for this.
